I’m such a tease.

I wish it was me teases the masses (or the two people who read this blog) about our potential move overseas but it not.  We are STILL waiting for final news on our possible move overseas.  We are still hopeful and we are still looking all over the world.  I can’t imagine staying here another year.  Yes I love my family but we have the fever for living overseas and we can’t leave it be.  We’ve been told that we should hear a response either way next week.  Not holding our breath but at the same time this does seem like it could be the final hurdle.

I have found some fantastic blogs while searching the web.

This lady is in Brunei with her family and has been a great resource for me.  I’ve followed her search for a house and her day to day life.  It’s a joy to read her blog every morning.  She’s much better at updating than I am.  Life in Brunei.

I read LuckyBeans every day.  I’ve mentioned this blog before….the family is in Malawi and the three delightful kids make me hopeful.

I also like to read Taitai knits, a knitter currently living in Beijing, China.

Black and (A)Broad is a new find for me.  What joy! they are a multiracial family living in the Netherlands.

Another recent find a family moving to Kenya Dunia Duara!

and finally Anne’s Creative Threads a QUILTER living quite close to where we will hopefully be in four months.

So I may not have news but I thought I’d give you something to do….I’m still looking for yoga options but I’m confident I’ll find something close to what I would like to do…

Erin, you will LOVE it. There’s even a guest blogger for a little while, her hubby, that will make you roar with laughter….but be prepared to cry a little too, very touching blog.

  1. Good morning from SITS….you were ahead of me on the blogroll. I love your blog…will definitely be back. Happy Saturday to you.

  2. Hi SITSta, thanks for stopping by today. I hope you get your overseas move. I would take it in a heart beat, unfortunately hubby doesn’t rate it. To go somewhere completely different, with new cultures and places…exciting! Good luck to you 🙂
