I like a little cream in my coffee…

Okay so for 8 years the big joke in our house has been about how we drink our coffee.  My hubby likes his black and strong and I like a little cream in my coffee.  Funny right?  Hilarious I think…today I was perusing in blog land and came across something that I HAVE TO HAVE!  Lisa Leonardo Online is an amazing jewelry site with an inspired artist.  Today she is featuring a jewelry giveaway for a piece of her art on FleaMarketTrixies blog (another amazing blog lady that you MUST check out).  I was looking through and fell in love with quite a few pieces but this is one I have to have….Our crazy black and white family is truly coffee with cream, we call the kids cappuccino babies all the time, I think this bracelet would be the perfect illustration of that….

Some linky links for you today.

I’ve already sent you over to Flea Market Trixies.  Why not head over to Nikki’s Nifty Knacks?  She has a project from some old keys and sheet music that I’m DYING to try.  Our new house is um, how do I put this, um, a blank canvas.  It has lots of good points (namely the rent and location) and lots of not so good points (everything else).  So what’s a gal to do?  Craft of course!! One of the first things I want to make is this wreath from Living in Lindsay, and I have the perfect place to hang it too!  I can’t really paint the walls here but what I can do is add texture and depth to the very tall Edwardian walls.  I plan on doing this with things that I can then take to our next place.  I stumbled upon this blog post at Little Birdies Secrets and I’m in love with a lot of the ideas here especially the door made into a coffee table!  There will be pictures galore in a few weeks but right now we are doin’ internet with the mobile sticks and they are NOT conducive to large uploads and downloads so you’ll just have to wait.  But rest assured I am taking lots of pictures and our life in London is being well documented.  Cheers!

I love Lisa Leonard! I have 3 or 4 of her pieces and they are BRILLIANT! I also got one for my mom last year. Can’t wait to see pictures of the new house…
